Latt Technologies LLC ("Latt," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Latt mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Scan Data
Latt uses your device's LiDAR sensor to capture spatial scans of rooms and buildings, which the App converts into floor plans. All scan data is processed and stored entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or have access to your scans, floor plans, or any imagery captured during scanning. This data remains under your control and is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad unless you choose to export or share it yourself (for example, by saving a file to Files, AirDropping it, or emailing it).
1.2 Account and Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Latt Plus, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive limited, non-financial information from Apple confirming your subscription status (e.g., active, expired) in order to unlock premium features within the App.
1.3 Analytics and Diagnostic Data
As of the date of this policy, we do not collect analytics, crash reports, usage data, device identifiers, or location data, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We may introduce analytics or crash reporting in a future version of the App to help us fix bugs and improve performance. If we do, such data would be limited to technical and usage information and would not include your scans, floor plans, or any content captured via the LiDAR sensor, which will remain on-device regardless of any future analytics implementation. Before enabling analytics, we will update this Privacy Policy and — where required by law — request your consent via an in-App prompt.
2. How We Use Information
Because scan data never leaves your device, we do not use it for any purpose — including product improvement, advertising, or sharing with third parties. Subscription status information is used solely to enable or restrict access to Latt Plus features.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your scan data or personal information with third parties. We do not have the technical ability to access your scans, as they are never transmitted to us. The only third party involved in the App is Apple, which processes subscription payments under its own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Scan data and floor plans are stored locally using standard iOS app sandboxing and security protections provided by Apple's operating system. If you delete the App, this data is removed from your device (except for anything you've separately exported or backed up, such as via iCloud device backups, which are governed by Apple's iCloud terms).
5. Your Choices and Rights
Because we do not collect or store your scan data, there is nothing on our servers to access, correct, or delete — your data lives on your device and is under your control at all times. You can delete individual scans or floor plans within the App, or remove all data by deleting the App. If you are located in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws and have questions about how these rights apply, contact us using the information below.
6. Children's Privacy
Latt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.
